DART is a project supported by Interreg IIIB North-West Europe.

DART focuses on tourism development and opportunities to increase tourism, economic and cultural links between the partners. The three Partner Regions are South Ayrshire, Scotland; the Rhein-Hunsruck and Bernkastel-Wittlich areas of Germany; and the north and east of County Cork, Ireland.

The emphasis of DART is to maximise the benefits to tourism from passengers using low cost airlines, by encouraging them to stay in partner regions, by developing tourism products that will appeal to visitors, by utilising innovative techniques and by accessing the benefits of best practice through trans-national co-operation.
